Bell The Leys School Summer School

Organized by the Bell School, founded in 1955, The Leys School summer school is located in Cambridge city centre. There is a sports center, a football pitch, a computer room and a cafeteria on campus. The school operates in a wide area with modern educational tools. All classrooms with ultra-modern equipment are equipped with interactive whiteboards or digital projectors. Students stay in the dormitory located on the campus in rooms with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 8 people. There is an attendant in each block in the dormitory where bathrooms and toilets are shared. A total of three full-day excursions are organized in each 2-week program to St John’s College and Kings College in Cambridge, as well as to surrounding cities such as London, Greenwich, Norwich.

In the English Explorer Program offered to students aged 11-17; In addition to 15 hours of General English lessons per week, students take elective courses in 3 different subjects for 6 hours a week. Lesson options include:

Embassy Summer Bellerbys College

Magdalene College, one of the colleges of Cambridge University, one of the oldest and most famous universities in the world, is a modern school within walking distance of the historic center of Cambridge. Accommodation is provided in single rooms in the dormitory located on campus. The bathroom is shared. All meals are served in the school cafeteria. Lunches on the days of excursions are provided in a package. In the school with a capacity of 50 students, lessons are held every weekday from morning to noon. After the lessons, there are activities such as football, swimming, punting, visits to Cambridge University Colleges, visits to botanical gardens and museums. On weekdays, entertainment activities such as puzzle solving, karaoke, cinema and parties are organized. A full-day excursion to London is organized on Saturdays, with Sundays being free time. Some activities require an extra entrance fee. These extras are around £20 per week.

English Cambridge University Magdalene College

Embassy Summer Cambridge summer school operates on Bellerbys College’s Manor Campus. The campus is 20 minutes from central Cambridge. Accommodation is provided in on-campus residence halls or homestays. Dormitory rooms are single occupancy; Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Homestays are approximately 40 minutes from the school. The rooms are for two people and the bathroom is shared with the family. Homestay students commute themselves by public transport between home and school. The weekly bus card is given to the student at school. When evening activities are organized at school, students are dropped off at home by private vehicle. Students staying in the dormitory receive all meals during the week, breakfast and dinner at the weekend. Weekend lunches are provided as a package. Homestay students, on the other hand, have breakfast and dinner with the family on weekdays and weekends; They eat lunch at school on weekdays. On the weekends, lunches are provided as a package by the family.

Students take 20 lessons of General English per week. There are five half-day excursions on weekdays and full-day excursions on Saturdays. Sundays are left as free time. Optional excursions are also offered at extra charge. In the evenings, activities such as disco, watching movies, karaoke, talent competition are organized.

The St Giles Family Course in Cambridge offers families the opportunity to study together in a beautiful, safe and historic city.

Home to one of the world’s most famous and prestigious universities, Cambridge is the perfect place for families to study English and experience British culture.

Adults will study at our newest year-round adult school, just minutes from the train station and within walking distance of the city centre. Children will take classes in nearby classrooms before enjoying 1 full-day and 3 half-day excursions per week. Activities can include gambling and university visits, as well as trips to London, Oxford and Windsor.

Abbey College Residence & Homestay

Cambridge is world famous for its historic colleges and beautiful architecture. The centre is located in the modern Abbey College a short walk from the city centre. Students stay in an ensuite residential accommodation next to Abbey College. The college is in a modern part of the prestigious city centre close to the University Botanic Gardens, Cambridge Central Railway station and an array of shops and leisure facilities.

Abbey College is a modern, cosmopolitan British secondary school with new buildings and recent refurbishments all around the spacious and secure site. Featuring nearby sports fields and adjoining leisure centre, the school has great facilities for young learners.

The college is in a modern part of the prestigious city centre close to the University Botanic Gardens, Cambridge Central Railway station and an array of shops and leisure facilities.

RESIDENTIAL

Abbey College has residence in the next door Tripos Court. It is a secure purpose built student accommodation featuring modern, single en-suite rooms with social space and all rooms include a desk, wardrobe and chair with WiFi throughout.

Laundry service available in residence for £3. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in each house and live in staff will schedule laundry sessions where the students are helped. Bedrooms cleaned weekly.
